Easter Witch with stripe cat and coffee pot, Påskkärring by Helge Artelius

Double sided heavy cardboard. A hole at the top to thread  a string for hanging. Measures 10 1/2" x 6 1/2".  Artwork by Helge Artelius.    The legend is that witches were astir around Maundy Thursday. One had to keep the doors and windows closed because the witches were looking for glowing embers for their fires and butter and coffee for their elaborate feasts with the devil.
