Loki is the old Norse god of the underworld. He is a trickster spirit, as well as a helper. He has sovereignity over fire, and is therefore associated with the kitchen. Loki has extensive magical powers, and often comes to the aid of magicians and sorcerers. It is said that one must be careful what one asks of Loki, because he just might give it to you.
